Angelo Palazzo is an award winning Sound Designer/Sound Effects editor and one of our newest additions to the Warner Bros. Post Sound Supervisor roster. His passion for film sound and desire for creative collaboration is an invaluable asset to the creative team. He has been consistently working in Hollywood since 1995 and has contributed and developed sound design for a wide range of Hollywood features and television shows including “Silver Linings Playbook,” “Predators,” “Grindhouse,” “Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer,” “2012,” “Getaway,” and “U-571” for which he won an Academy Award for Best Sound Editing.
Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Angelo was raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended UCLA on a track and field scholarship, earning himself a B.A. in Anthropology in 1994. His early years were spent working as a recording engineer and playing in various bands with members of bands such as Tool, The Breeders, The Cult, Guns ‘n Roses, Union 13 and others. Angelo can pilot bicycles up severe inclines with unflagging speed, he can cook 30-Minute Brownies in twenty minutes, is an expert in stucco, a veteran in love and an outlaw in Peru.
